Cyprus will allow vaccinated Brits in for holidays from May

Although international travel out of the UK is currently on hold until mid-May, Cyprus will allow UK travellers in quarantine free from 1 May  - as long as they have had both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine. The second dose must have been administered at least seven days before travelling.

Deputy tourism minister Savvas Perdios calls it a 'green light for travellers.'  According to the UK's roadmap out of lockdown, the  earliest date people will be able to travel abroad for a holiday is 17 May.
